The Ombudsman regularly recruits enthusiastic and skilled people to join its team.
Ombudsman staff are employed under the public service staff profile and conditions. Their employment rules are adapted to ensure their independence. Employment information relating to the Timorese public service can be found on the Public Service Commission website.
The Ombudsman may also recruit temporary and technical assistance staff. Based on capacity development cooperation for the Ombudsman, Ombudsman international development partners may also recruit consultants and staff.

Some procurement calls may be restricted to companies registered in Timor-Leste, while others may be open to international bidders.
The Ministry of Finance provides information on the legislation and regulations related to procurement in Timor-Leste. Procurement related documentation can be accessed here.
