Deputy Ombudsman for Good Governance, Rigoberto Monteiro participated in the UNDP Country Programme Document (CPD) Board Meeting on the 21st of June 2024 at Salão Nobre, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
The UNDP Country Programme Document (CPD) for Timor-Leste (2021-2025) – a planning document for 2021-2025 – was agreed upon between UNDP and the government “to accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals in Timor-Leste by reducing vulnerability to poverty and promoting resilience to climate change, accountable governance, and economic transformation.”
The Board of the CPD oversees the implementation of all UNDP projects within the program. Its members meet regularly to review the progress implementation that has been made, discuss the challenges that the program faces, and assess the results achieved. The board includes key stakeholders involved in program implementation.
