PDHJ Promotes Principles of Good Governance and Human Rights for Leadership in Liquiça Municipal Administration

This week, from June 19 to 21, the PDHJ team of trainers conducted a three-day session on the principles of good governance and human rights for leadership and management positions within the public administration of Liquica municipality.
The aim of this training is to foster awareness among leaders regarding a work culture that upholds human rights, the rule of law, and principles of good governance. Rigoberto Monteiro, Deputy Ombudsman of Good Governance, acknowledged that trainees play a crucial role in protecting human rights through their daily responsibilities.
“Whether in small or large ways, those of you who have served our society with dignity are champions of human rights promotion in Liquica,” he remarked.
Monteiro urged leaders of public entities in Liquica municipality to make the most of the training to comprehensively grasp and implement these principles in their workplaces.
